One,the right pallet doubles the effect and halves the effort

Pallets are the "carriers" for material handling, and choosing the right type and size is the first step.

In terms of size, the standard pallet is available from 160×160mm to 640×640mm, and it is recommended that the total size of the product + fixture is smaller than the pallet for easy positioning. In addition, the pallet comes with positioning pin sleeve and guide groove, WA2 has the highest positioning accuracy ±0.05mm, WE2 ±0.5mm, the former is more reliable for precision machining.

One,Calculate the unit load to avoid overloading and overturning the vehicle

Unit load of pallets = Total weight (product + fixture + pallet itself) ÷ Length of contact between pallet and conveyor chain (Lwt).

The key is: this value can not exceed the upper limit of the conveying medium. For example, a roller chain with plastic wear-resistant strips can carry up to 1.5kg per cm, while steel wear-resistant strips can add up to 2kg/cm. For example, if a pallet is 40cm long and has a total weight of 60kg, the unit load is 1.5kg/cm, which is just in line with the standard for plastic wear-resistant strips.

Don't forget to check the centre of gravity: the load should be placed in the middle of the pallet, partial load will shorten the life of the equipment; the height of the centre of gravity should not be more than half of the width of the pallet, otherwise it will be easy to shake.

Two,Total load "red line" cannot be touched.

The total load of a single section of an assembly line is the sum of the total weight of all the pallets stacked on it.

Choose AC2 line body for light load, the total load should not exceed 700kg; choose AC2/H for heavy load, the maximum load should be 2200kg. if the total load is exceeded, don't insist on it, split the assembly line into several sections, each section with independent motors, modular design is very easy to change.

For example, if you have 5 pallets with a total weight of 300kg each and a total weight of 1500kg, choosing the AC2/H single section will be enough.

Three,length calculation should beaccurate

The length of the conveyor section is not as long as it should be, but rather a combination of the total load and the length limitations of the line itself.

The calculation formula can be referred to:Maximum permissible length = Maximum load per section ÷ Gross weight per pallet × Length of pallet. 

For example, if the AC2/H has a maximum of 2200kg in a single section, and a single pallet is 300kg and 40cm long, then the maximum length is about 2200 ÷ 300 x 40 ≈ 293cm, which is not over the total load, and is also within the range of 30 metres, so it's perfect.

Finally remind: the environment is also very important, the assembly line is suitable for 5-40 ℃, humidity 5%-85% environment, too humid, too hot or chemical corrosion of the place must be in advance with the equipment business instructions to facilitate the special treatment.
